Horrific Crash in Washington Leaves Young Girl Traumatized, Unharmed

The really amazing thing about this story is that somehow Yasman Fausto emerges from this over-the-top level of driver negligence physically unscathed.  The driver was driving on a suspended license, adding more anecdotal evidence to the idea that suspending a license does little to alter driver behavior and is being charged with "reckless driving."  If that's all he's charged with, then Washington either needs new cops, new D.A.'s or new laws.

I can't help but mentally going back to the reporter repeatedly asserting that the girl is "unhurt."  I can't imagine a world where she doesn't mentally carry this with her for the rest of her life.

On another note, was it just me that got the commercial on what kind of gas to put in my car to get it "rocking and rolling" before this story?  That's in at least slightly bad taste, right?
