Public Workshops, LA County Bike Master Plan

The 2nd round Public Workshops have been scheduled!  Refer to the Meetings page for meeting dates, times and locations.

This plan is an update to the County's adopted Plan of Bikeways
(1975) and a sub-element to the General Plan. The plan seeks to
encourage the use of bicycles as a general means of transportation,
ensure the safety of bicycle users, and provide guidelines for the
development, expansion, and implementation of the County's bicycle
infrastructure.

The study corridors from the 1st round of workshops are available for review here.  You can also view the study corridors in Google Earth by downloading this file.

Scope Area

The Plan covers bicycling issues in all unincorporated areas
within the County of Los Angeles.  It will also study the potential for
new and improved bike paths along flood control facilities (rivers,
creeks, arroyos, washes and drains). This map illustrates the scope.
