West L.A. Neighborhood Council Traffic Safety Town Hall

ROSENDAHL, SAFETY ADVOCATES ANNOUNCE TOWN HALL MEETINGS TO ADDRESS TRAFFIC ISSUES

WEST LA -- Councilman Bill Rosendahl and organizers of the Sawtelle-Bundy Traffic Safety Program announced two town hall meetings to address the problems associated with our gridlocked streets on the Westside.
The goal of this new program is to reduce cut-through traffic in our residential neighborhoods, and draw attention to the noise and air pollution that this traffic creates. The group plans on achieving the program goal by listing specific neighborhoods with traffic issues, and what days and times are the worst.
A traffic engineer will attend to describe possible traffic mitigations and solutions to make our West L.A. community safer
A limited fund has been established by developers of local projects to help provide for new stop signs, speed bumps, crosswalks and other solutions for a safer community.
Please encourage friends and family to attend one of the following meetings:
Thurs., April 5, 2012 - 7:00 p.m.
West LA Neighborhood Council Office
1645 Corinth Ave. 2nd floor, Los Angeles 90025
(south of Santa Monica Blvd. behind the Library and Felicia Mahood Senior Center)
Sat., April 14, 2012 - 3:00 p.m.
Stoner Park
1835 Stoner Ave., Los Angeles 90025
(south of Santa Monica Blvd., cross-street is Missouri Ave.)
Those who are not able to attend can also provide input on-line at the WLA Neighborhood Council at www.wlanc.com.
