Bike Ride to and Bike Valet at Eastside Streetsblog Event

View Eastside Tour ride to Eastside Luv in a larger map

With the first event for Los Angeles Streetsblog's Eastside Tour only a week away, arriving to the event should be as fun as catching the show. Two bicycle rides heading out from two different locations, one from MacArthur Park and the other from Montebello, will meet at Eastside Luv Wine Bar y Queso for Los Angeles Streetsblog event on July 25. The Ovarian Psycos Cycle Brigade will be leading the ride from MacArthur Park to Eastside Luv. The Montebello Bicycle Coalition will lead a bike ride from Montebello City Hall, pass through East Los Angeles, and arrive at the Boyle Heights destination.

Also, thanks to the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition, we will also have bike valet in front of the bar for people coming from the rides, or just coming to the show on two wheels.

For more details on the ride, take a look at the google map at the top of the post to see information about the route. Facebook event pages will be made soon, and be posted on our Los Angeles Streetsblog Facebook page.  In the meantime, feel free to RSVP on the event's special Facebook Page.

And don't forget, Eastside Luv is right across the street from the Mariachi Plaza Gold Line Station, so there is more than one reason to come by foot or pedal.

Last, a special thanks to our Eastside Streetsblog tour sponsors: Bike Nation, the Robert Group, Miceli Infrastructure Consulting, Urban and Environmental Policy Institute at Occidental College and Civic Enterprise for their financial support.
