Eastside Tour at Eastside Luv: A Big Thank You to All

Shirt design by Social Machine Productions

I woke up sore in the morning, Damien learned how to do an Eastside handshake, and memories were made. Thanks to Dewey Tafoya and Social Machine Productions to making our Eastside Streetsblog shirt design, Santa Monica Spoke for donating the Flying Pigeon Bicycle, Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition for letting us use their bike valet, the music by DJ Alter, Angela Flores, Alejandra Leyva, and Gloria Estrada, and El Haru-Kuroi. Thanks to the Ovarian Psycos Cycle Brigade and Montebello Bicycle Coalition for leading rides to the event, to Eastside Luv Wine Bar y Queso for letting us use their beautiful space and all the staff that helped make the event so enjoyable, to Un Solo Sol Restaurant for donating papusas, and Eastsiderwriter.com for designing our event flyer. And to all the volunteers that helped with managing the bike valet and collecting donations at the door (I owe you all a very nice breakfast).

Last, a special thanks to our Eastside Streetsblog tour sponsors: Bike Nation, the Robert Group, Miceli Infrastructure Consulting, Urban and Environmental Policy Institute at Occidental College and Civic Enterprise for their financial support.

And to everyone else that came out last night, thank you. Be sure to come out to our next event at the Flying Pigeon on August 10. Stay tuned for details.

And in case you didn't make it out to the event, check out the Storify here.
