Fiesta De Las Luces: Opening Fundraiser for “Communities for Mobility”

We here at MCM/City of Lights are so excited to announce our official coming out! MCM plans to address the intersecting bicycle, pedestrian, and transit needs of low-income communities of color throughout Los Angeles. (Note, we will continue our safety and advocacy efforts as a volunteer led non-profit, formerly an LACBC program.)

Come mingle with other environmental and social justice progressive folks and learn about our plans for 2012-2013!

We will be hosting a small "friendraiser" in East Hollywood after work at our friends Lauren and Danny's lovely home to celebrate our new beginnings and raise a little cash to get our organization going! The entrance is $25 cash at the door, which includes food (veg options) and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bring a friend!

Thank you for all of your support and believing in us over the years! Bikes and public transit encouraged, it's only a 12 min walk from the Vermont/Beverly red line station and also right next to the 10 bus off of Melrose.

For any questions, feel free to contact us at communitiesformobility@gmail.com.

Thanks and we hope to see you there!
