You’re Invited to Dinner with Los Angeles Walks

You're Invited to Dinner with Los Angeles Walks

On Saturday, June 1, we’re hosting a dinner party celebrating Los Angeles walkers (that's you!) as we honor two very special guests, LA's new pedestrian coordinators Margot Ocañas and Valerie Watson. The dinner will be held at the beautiful midcentury modern house of our founder Deborah Murphy in Silver Lake and feature cuisine inspired by iconic street food of LA (think: bacon-wrapped hot dogs). How to join us? You can choose a ticket to the dinner as your reward when you back our Hey, I'm Walking Here campaign on Kickstarter. And you can also choose from other rewards that include custom walking tours, workshops and other adventures led by Los Angeles Walks steering committee members. Donate today! Join us for dinner and support Los Angeles Walks

We Westside WalkLAvia-ed

During the CicLAvia to the Sea, we helped organize a WalkLAvia from Culver City to Venice Beach -- over five miles down Venice Boulevard. The walk was led by the great Bob Inman and included a round trip option that ventured through Venice's canals and walkstreets. If you missed it, don't worry, we're planning something for the next CicLAvia on June 23! See photos of WalkLAvia
