Windows to Health: Transforming blank walls into visions of a healthy South L.A.

Join us to celebrate the murals with music, food and fellowship.

February 20th

5:00pm-6:00pm

EXPO CENTER
3980 Bill Robertson Lane, Los Angeles, CA 90037

Greetings All

We are eager to invite you to the youth artist celebration of four new murals that were recently installed on the outside wall of the Expo Center Childcare Center.

Artists June Edmonds and Jose Lozano worked with 22 youth and several youth mentors to collect community stories about health and visions for Health in South LA.  They created this series of four murals on canvas. This project was funded by the USC Good Neighbors Program and by the California Endowment and Building Healthy Communities South LA. The four murals are part of a series of 17 murals installed throughout South LA.  Please see attached flyer.

Please stop by, meet the artists and enjoy some music and healthy snacks.
