Details:            Celebrating the award-winning opera one year after it encompassed Union Station and transfixed Los Angeles, this free acoustic concert performance of the opera reunites the original cast of INVISIBLE CITIES. Composer and librettist Christopher Cerrone was nominated for a 2014 Pulitzer Prize for his adaptation of Italo Calvino's beloved novel. The story depicts a host of fantastical cities the explorer Marco Polo narrates to Kublai Khan: unreal cities of desire, of memory, of the imagination. Cerrone’s delicate musical setting explores sonic qualities of decay and lushness with a haunting simplicity. Last year's production by The Industry and LA Dance Project became a runaway success -- don't miss this chance to experience the music again!

Admission is free. Seating opens 30 minutes prior to performance and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Preferential seating for TAP card holders!
