Metro East San Fernando Valley and Beverly Hills rail construction updates, Mt. SAC transit center, and El Monte complete streets.

  • Monday 7/10 - The new Mt. San Antonio College Transit Center is officially opened today. Details at SBLA post.
  • Tuesday 7/11 - Metro will host the second of two Community Open Houses for its East San Fernando Valley Light Rail project. Metro staff will share project information and respond to questions, and discuss: upcoming construction, the launch of the Community Leadership Council, the Eat Shop Play program, and other programs. The virtual meeting will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. via Zoom. Additional information at Metro project page.
  • Wednesday 7/12 - Metro will host a noon virtual update meeting on D Line westside subway construction in the city of Beverly Hills. Details at Metro meeting page.
  • Wednesday 7/12 - The city of El Monte is hosting the second of two public input meetings for proposed complete streets improvements on Valley Boulevard and Main Street. Meeting will take place from 6-7 p.m. at the El Monte Aquatic Center and 11001 Mildred Street. Details at El Monte flier. Interested but can't make it? Take the city's online survey.
