Staying Shoulder to Shoulder with LA Streetsblog

Dear Friends, Colleagues, Angelenos!

As many well know, we at LA Streetsblog are undergoing something of a transition. Since July, we've been operating with an independent board of directors and doing all our own fund-raising, while retaining a close relationship with our Streetsblog affiliates.

However, above all the big news really is our plan to expand coverage into a more diverse array of issues representing a broader cross-section of the Los Angeles area. At the same time, the flip side is that we are trying to deepen our connections with our current readers and reach a broader audience. All of this, ultimately, ties in closely with our mission to share important news with our readers and engage them in a thoughtful discussion about livable streets and transportation reform advocacy.

In the spirit of making connections, I'd like to invite you to join our brand new LA Streetsblog Facebook Page. By "Liking" LA Streetsblog - and encouraging your friends to do the same - you'll stay abreast of all that's happening during this exciting new phase and help spread the news. Going forward, I'm going to headman our page and keep things fresh by posting our stories, interesting links, and the occasional wry observation. Hope to meet you there.

Best wishes,

Carter Rubin
